Cliff Williams F.B.D.O.
Cliff is a Registered Dispensing Optician who owns and runs this Opticians in Fife,Scotland for the last fourteen years. Using the latest equipment Cliff is pushing the boundaries of Optometric Practice at all stages and is keen to educate and promote technology to the profession, having written several articles for ABDO's Dispensing Optics and has recently been involved in co-authoring best practice Paediatric dispensing and testing.
Carl Zeiss regularly call on Cliff's expertise for education, training
events and presentations to Optometrists, Dispensing Opticians, Orthoptists,
and Consultant Ophthalmologists all over the U.K. Cliff has recently been
involved with final testing and prototype evaluation of the next generation of
medical equipment.
With several multi-national companies turning to Cliff for networking, imaging,
order systems advice and practice management advice over the last few years,
many fellow Opticians will be working with Cliff’s suggestions on a daily
basis.
What Cliff enjoys most of all though is transforming a patient's appearance with a stylish new look, fitted accurately using the latest technology so they have clear, sharp vision at all times.
Joan Williams
Cliff is very lucky being able to work with his mum on a daily basis for many years. Joan has many patients who trust her implicitly on honest style advice and she still enjoys selecting and fitting the latest styles for patients. With many years of experience behind her Joan has held many prominent roles in life but she enjoys and puts up with working with her big son even to this day.
When it comes to the NHS Cliff knows how well she can handle the mountains of paperwork on a daily basis and she is one of the voices to be heard when ringing for an appointment.

Finally we would like to introduce an important part of our team, Mr Nespresso.
He works every day and never complains giving excellent service to many, his specialities are a nice Latte or even a Cappucino, some of our visitors refer to the maximum strength he makes as rocket fuel, which is ideal for some, but others settle on the weakest ones, or even a good old fashioned tea. We have a TV in the shop, wireless hotspot and can always provide a hot drink when you come - just ask!
