Our new digital 3D lens centration platform by ZEISS
ZEISS VISUFIT 1000 is a new digital platform that will:
offer highly accurate 3D centration for your new spectacles.
Ensuring accurate centration to maximize optical performance.
Enable us to guarantee that bespoke lenses and frames fit you perfectly.
Provide clear images of frames to help you choose a frame style.
Enable us to carry out a consultation based on your specific needs.
Provide easy customisation for your spectacles, sunglasses and drivesafe lenses.
Are traditional manual centration methods the ideal solution for your needs?
Surely there is something more modern than putting a felt tip smudge on the dummy lenses?
Inaccurate centration can lead to a 40% reduction in the performance of a lens.
It can also be difficult to see the new frame styles clearly before ordering.
High Accuracy using 3D
3D centration is done by using 9 mutually calibrated cameras to give a complete 180° view in just one shot. Our Patients will notice this upgrade as we will not need to use the frame calibrating clip as we have done previously.
To assist with accuracy the VISUFIT 1000 has a laser speck as a projection to infinity to focus on which makes data reliable.
Right and left back vertex distance determination provides an unprecedented level of accuracy in the calculation of the lens design, taking individual wear parameters into account.
Ease-of-Use
Using our PC or our iPad, we can manage the centration device easily and quickly, keeping you at ease throughout the quick process.
Our body posture assistance will help us correct any unnatural body posture that can affect the centration process.
Frames with thick temples are no longer a problem as the overlay function will help us detect the position of the cornea and determine the back vertex distance without trouble.
